Yes I know sales are meant to entice you into ultimately purchasing a car so the process is to hook you on the small things. Well, that’s not the experience we had here. We looked for a long time never settling on anything definitive. Eventually we kept coming back and worked with Devon Grady. All I can say is after an accident and getting a vehicle for our family Devon knew how to work with us and make us feel very much a part of the process. I can’t thank Devon enough for his help and patience so much that now we have purchased three vehicles from him! Not something I would have ever thought would come out of my mouth. My family had the pleasure (not a word that typically comes to mind when car shopping!) of working with Josh Curtis at Flatirons Subaru in Boulder. We were looking for a used car for our kid, who had recently gotten their driver’s license, and Josh took the time to understand what we were looking for and what would work for our family. We worked with Josh over the course of a couple of weeks as different cars became available at Flatirons and as we looked at other dealerships. During that time, we encountered some pretty disappointing—and in some cases questionable—practices at other dealerships. That made us especially appreciative when Josh called to tell us about a used Outback that was in great shape and priced very reasonably. It checked all the boxes for our needs and budget, and our kid is now very proud and happy to be driving it to school. There was never any pressure from Josh, and we genuinely felt that he had our best interests in mind throughout the process. Everyone else we interacted with at Flatirons was equally friendly, helpful, and professional. This is our family’s fifth Subaru, and we’re grateful to have such an outstanding dealership right here in Boulder. I just bought a brand new Subaru Forrester wilderness 2026 from Flarirons Subaru and couldn’t be happier. Jen’s helped me decide on the perfect car and spent all the time I needed to go over all the details. The best experience I’ve ever had buying a car.

I needed a part for my Ascent and called a nearby dealership more convenient to me than Flatirons. I was told that they did not have the part but that it was available at Flatirons. I gave the Flatirons parts department the Subaru part number and had them hold it. I did not ask the price, STUPIDLY believing a Subaru part would be roughly equivalent at all Subaru dealers. BIG MISTAKE. The price at Flatirons was DOUBLE the price at the original Subaru dealer. I did not buy the part and will not again visit Flatirons

My husband and I bought our first new car in over 20 years this summer. We knew we wanted a Subaru Forrester because we had been researching for a while. Little did we know how many different possibilities that involved! Luckily, we met Miles Crawford at Flatiron Subaru. He was so knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. We highly recommend him. He worked with us over the course of two weeks and reserved one of the new cars on route to the dealership. Unfortunately, we caught some kind of a summer bug and were too ill to pick up the car at the appointed time. He worked with us until we were well enough to complete the purchase. Every step of the way Miles was so helpful. We couldn't have done this without him and we are very grateful. We really love our new car. Another Flatiron employee also deserves a mention here and that is Evan, who gave us a wonderful tutorial. He even encouraged us to come back for another session when we are ready.

I was very pleased with the entire process of picking out which vehicle I wanted to get. Jens Larsen, my sales representative, was extremely helpful throughout the time. Jens Larson was absolutely amazing to work with! When I am looking to make a major purchase, I am very particular about what I want and I tend to ask a lot of questions. My first conversation with Jens started through the dealership’s online chat. We quickly decided it would be easier to speak over the phone, and from there, Jens took the time to answer what probably felt like a million questions. I had never owned a Subaru, driven a Subaru, or even been inside one before, so I was starting from scratch. Jens walked me through several different models, explained the differences, and helped me narrow down which vehicle he thought would be the best fit based on what I was looking for and what mattered most to me. After about a month of conversations through texts, calls, and emails, I finally decided to come in and test drive a vehicle. That is when I found the one: a 2026 Subaru Outback Limited XT with the turbo engine, in all of its Magnetite Gray Metallic beauty. For me, the engine was important, but so were the color, features, and overall configuration. I knew exactly what I wanted once I drove it. We sat down and went over the numbers, and this is where I became even more impressed. The figures were genuinely good from the very first pencil. I did not purchase the vehicle that day, but it had nothing to do with Jens or the deal. I simply was not comfortable making a major decision at that moment. It was after a long weekend and a long day of work, and I knew I needed to go home, clear my head, and look at everything objectively. Throughout the entire process, neither Jens nor anyone at the dealership made me feel pressured. There was never a sense that they were simply trying to figure out how much money they could get out of me. If anything, I almost felt like I was taking money from them! I was also very clear that I was not trying to force an unreasonable deal. I did not want the dealership to lose money, and I was never interested in playing the “accept this offer or I walk” game. Instead, we had a mature and transparent conversation about what was possible, what was reasonable, and what might simply be wishful thinking. I really appreciated that approach. About a week later, I reached back out to Jens with a clearer head and all of the facts and figures in front of me. We spoke briefly, worked through the remaining details, and ultimately landed on what I consider to be a fantastic deal. I want to personally thank Jens Larson, my sales consultant, Shane, the New Car Manager, and Brendan , the Finance Manager. Each of them played a part in putting this deal together and making me feel genuinely welcomed into the Subaru family. Buying a vehicle can easily become stressful, frustrating, and overly complicated. My experience here was the complete opposite. I felt informed, respected, and comfortable throughout the entire process. Most importantly, I never felt pressured into making a decision before I was ready. I am extremely appreciative of Jens and the entire team for making my first Subaru purchase such an exceptional experience. Thank you all!

Miles Crawford was a professional through and through. My car buying experience at Subaru was a pleasure from beginning to end. I highly recommend the team they have from sales to financing. I have had cars from several dealerships in the area and this by far is a standout.

This place is fantastic! I’m new in town, showed up without an appointment at 5pm. They took the time to understand the issue and fixed it the next day. Turns out it wasn’t a dead battery but a small problem they fixed without charge. I have been to Subaru service dealers in several states and can say nobody has ever been this kind and accommodating. After searching for two months for a used vehicle I found myself at Flatirons. They had the EXACT car I wanted and we negotiated a great price. Onto my sales rep, Jens. He is easily the BEST sales rep I’ve dealt with while buying a car. Very friendly, knowledgeable and doesn’t waste your time nor does this dealership. Had a positive experience buying our 2026 Subaru Forester here. However, our experience with the service team was very bad. During our complimentary oil change at 3000 miles, a technician installed a bad oil filter and spilled oil all over the engine. A routine oil change ended up taking 3 hours. They told us to expect to a burning oil smell for at least the next week. On top of that, when the car was returned to us it was covered in oil stains, including the hood, door handles, and steering wheel (see photos). After spilling oil all over the engine of our brand new car, the least they could have done is cleaned up after themselves. Very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail. They offered two free oil changes to make up for the mistake, but I’m unsure if I’ll feel comfortable bringing my car back here for service in the future.

No pressure to buy friendly

The quickest car deal I've ever made. I had a trade in and bought a 2022 Subaru Outback with Nick and it was a super easy process. I appreciate the value they gave me on my car. I appreciate the service and I appreciate the condition of my new to me Subaru! The new floor mats and two key fobs were just an extra nice touch.

I can't say enough good things about Drew, our sales consultant. We were buying a car for my daughter. I am out of state. I called and told Drew exactly what I was looking for, what price I would pay, and since she had to go there without me, I asked him not to give her a sales pitch. My wife and I just bought a car yesterday from Drew (salesman) and Brendan (Financials), they were both amazing. We had our twin toddlers with us and they were both very accommodating as they were getting agitated. I would buy a car from there again!

Five stars for Rhianna at Flatirons Subaru! Our experience purchasing a certified Subaru this week was wonderful. Unlike most dealership experiences we've had, working with Rhianna and Flatirons was fun and stress-free. Rhianna was attentive and efficient, friendly and helpful, and gave us plenty of space to choose the perfect car. She and the finance team worked with us to find a deal that felt fair and competitive. He was patient, knowledgeable, kind and understanding, and never once made me feel rushed or managed. I had a lot of questions about the 2026 Trailseeker, it's a new vehicle and I wanted to understand what I was getting into and Devon met every one of my questions with thoughtfulness. Adam asked us a few questions and answered our questions, he was very knowledgeable and easy to work with via phone and text. Great staff very knowledgeable, overall good experience

This is hands down the best dealership experience I have ever had. My family and I were treated very well. My kids were having fun around the camp area and one of the gentlemen came and asked if they liked cars, then came back with a couple hot wheels. They do their best to be transparent and fair. Josh and Brendon are great at what they do, and everyone there made sure we were accommodated. The process was quick and highly recommended. I will be going back.

Rhianna was absolutely incredible and so helpful, walked me through every step of the process and answered all my questions. I love my new car and couldn’t have asked for someone better to help me get the one I wanted.

I am happy to write an excellent review for Flatirons. I wasn't continuously pestered by sales people once I expressed interest. I quickly received answers to all of my questions as they came up during the process. I negotiated my price in advance through email. When I went in to get the car, I was in and out of the dealership in about 45 minutes. I can't ask for anything better than that! Thanks especially to Rhianna for all her help in getting this done.
